From Lashes to Lunges: How Our Galentine’s Pilates Event Brought Women Together in Pittsburgh

This Galentine’s Day in Pittsburgh, we did something different.

Instead of gathering around brunch tables, we gathered on Pilates mats — stretching, laughing, breathing, and connecting.

As a licensed esthetician and beauty professional at Anastasia’s Crown, I believe beauty goes beyond lashes and skincare. It’s about how you feel in your body, how you carry yourself, and the community that surrounds you.

Our Galentine’s Pilates pop-up wasn’t just an event.

It was a reminder that wellness and beauty are deeply connected.

Why a Pilates Pop-Up for Galentine’s Day?

As women, especially as busy professionals and mothers, we rarely slow down.

We book appointments.
We show up for everyone else.
We keep moving.

But when was the last time we moved for ourselves?

Pilates supports:

  • Core strength
  • Posture
  • Circulation
  • Body awareness

And all of those things directly impact confidence — which is the foundation of beauty.

Hosting a Pilates pop-up in Pittsburgh allowed women to prioritize movement in a supportive, judgment-free space. It aligned perfectly with the mission behind Anastasia’s Crown: creating safe, elevated environments where women feel empowered in their skin.

How Community Elevates the Beauty Experience

The beauty industry can easily become transactional.

But long-term impact happens when women feel connected.

At this Galentine’s wellness event, women:

  • Met new friends
  • Supported local women-owned businesses
  • Experienced luxury in a relaxed way
  • Felt seen beyond their roles and responsibilities

Some attendees were existing lash and skincare clients.
Others were brand new to Anastasia’s Crown.
Some came for Pilates.
Some came for connection.

By the end, everyone left with both.

That’s the power of community-centered beauty.

Why Wellness Events Matter in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh has an incredible community of strong, ambitious women — but we need spaces that pour back into us.

That’s why I’m intentional about hosting events that blend:

  • Beauty
  • Movement
  • Self-care
  • Sisterhood

Because when women gather intentionally, something shifts.

Confidence rises.
Walls come down.
Collaboration grows.

And that ripple effect extends far beyond one event.

What’s Next?

This Galentine’s Pilates pop-up is just the beginning.

Anastasia’s Crown will continue creating wellness experiences that support women holistically — from corrective skincare and Brazilian waxing to intimate skin illumination and custom lash extensions.

If you’re in Pittsburgh and looking for a beauty space that feels personal, intentional, and community-driven, I’d love to welcome you.

Because beauty should never feel pressured.

It should feel powerful.
